In Nova Scotia the summer was clearly ending as we were visited by friends from Maine. Time to head south.

In the early fall my (John's) mother died, necessitating a quick trip to England for the funeral. She was 89 and lived a full, although not easy, life. For those that knew her, we will be having a memorial service in Bermuda on February 1st 2011.
