Then it was on to England to see my (John's) mother and brother and spend a week with my family including some great walking along the Thames. A bit soggy, but then it is England.

My daughter Sarah's partner Ryan took the opportunity to ask me for Sarah's hand in marriage. I didn't think anyone did that anymore. But then Ryan is a great guy and we could not be happier. Only problem, Sarah says we need new clothes for the wedding and fleece will not do!
